Michael Vick Coaching Job

The 44-year-old former NFL player played college ball at Virginia Tech and is now returning to the state in a new way. Vick has never coached at any level previous to this one but agreed to take over the program after Dawson Odums.

Odums was fired back in November, and the school had been looking for his replacement to hopefully take the school on a better path to victory. The Virginian Pilot reports that a news conference regarding the new coach would be expected to occur sometime within the next week.

Last week, news broke about former NFL coach Bill Belichick accepting the head coaching position at North Carolina. Now, the former NFL superstars are both making their way to college ball for the next season.
