On Thursday night, 19,565 people gathered at Spectrum Center, setting a new record for the number of sellouts at Spectrum Center.
Fans took to the Spectrum Center on Thursday night to honor team legend Dell Curry for his jersey retirement ceremony. Thousands of fans packed out the building to honor the Hornets legend alongside his family. Also in attendance were Steph Curry, Seth Curry, and all of the Curry family.
With fewer than 10 regular-season home games, the Hornets expect ticket demand to continue to rise. The new record is now 18 sellouts at the Spectrum Center. The last seven home games have been sellouts and beat the previous record from the 2022-2023 season.
Charlotte Axios reports that the Hornets have seen a 7% increase in attendance compared to the 2024-2025 season. Currently, the team is averaging more than 18,400 fans per game through 33 home games.
