Dr. Joy White never thought in a million years that she would be diagnosed with breast cancer WHILE caring for other women on their breast cancer journey. Her story is brave, full of challenges but Dr. Joy is giving back to a community of women for an ongoing campaign at her spa in South Charlotte. Yes, White Diamond Medical Clinic and Spa has launched a new campaign titled, A Diamond’s Spa Day”, to help bring awareness to breast cancer and domestic violence, and to highlight superwomen in the Charlotte community. Six women total will receive various treatments, at no cost, including: PRP Hair Restoration, which has platelets that secrete growth factors to help stimulate hair growth after chemotherapy treatments; Salt Hydrotherapy Bath, a combination of pool salt and essential oils which help with relaxation, skin and sinus issues and body pain; and Customized Facials with 3D Skin Analysis, which addresses issues associated with skin damage.
