Want to spice up your holiday recipes? We got you covered. If you’ve never had the holiday Cheerwine punch you are missing out. (Especially when it’s spiked!) Cheerwine, the family-owned soft drink from Salisbury, North Carolina, has some holiday recipes for us! This is all thanks to popular Carolinian chefs and mixologists.
In celebration of its return to Carolina shelves, the renowned southern soda has partnered with 18 well-known Carolina chefs, bakers, and mixologists to create a recipe suite of cool drinks and desserts. Each chef/baker prepared a dessert using Cheerwine (or Cheerwine Syrup), while the mixologists created cocktails using Cheerwine Holiday Punch.
Cheerwine Holiday Punch is a delicious combination of Cheerwine’s delicious cherry flavor, tangy pineapple juice, and bright, bubbly ginger ale to create a unique holiday taste. While supplies last, you can purchase Cheerwine Holiday Punch online and at Carolina grocery stores.
“Cheerwine has been part of family traditions across the South for generations,” says Joy Harper, the great-great-granddaughter of Cheerwine’s founder and vice president of marketing for Cheerwine. “We’re thrilled to share these brand new recipes people can incorporate into their uniquely southern holiday celebrations for years to come. And we’re grateful to the talented Carolinian chefs and mixologists who created delicious sips and sweets using Cheerwine and Cheerwine Holiday Punch.” Check out these recipes from North Carolina locals below.
