National Taco Day Deals And Freebies In North Carolina

October 4th is National Taco Day. This year, National Taco Day falls on a Tuesday, making it the biggest Taco Tuesday of the year! USA Today has tracked down all sorts of deals and freebies to help you celebrate. Here are some that you’ll find in North Carolina:

  • Moe's Southwest Grill

    Moe Rewards members get $5 off any meal kit on National Taco Day (10/4/22), including the Taco Meal Kit with free chips and salsa. Taco kits are equipped with 12 soft flour tortillas, two proteins, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, beans, rice, sour cream, and a shareable bowl of Moe’s queso. Members can order ahead online using the promo code TACODAY22.

  • Chuy's

    Wanna eat free? Dress like a taco! You can also get extra tequila for $1. Chuy’s is offering all-day specials on tacos and tequila, including free food if customers dress like a taco and post a photo with #ChuysTacoDay. Customers can add a ground beef taco (crispy or soft) to any dine-in entrée purchase for an extra buck.

  • Tijuana Flats

    Hang on to that costume! If you’re in Cary or Holly Springs, dress up in taco attire, spend at least $2, and you’ll get one free chicken, beef, or bean taco. Tijuana Flats is also serving up $4 margaritas and sangria.

  • Jack in the Box

    Monster tacos have been resurrected! You can get two for $3 until October 31st at participating Jack in the Box locations. Muahahaha!!!

  • Taco Bell

    Taco Bell is offering its Taco Lover’s Pass exclusively on the Taco Bell app. The pass will be available for purchase for one day only…TODAY (10/4/22)! With the pass, rewards members can pay $10 and get one taco a day all month long. Live más, indeed.

  • Grubhub (Taco Bell and On the Border)

    Grubhub has delivery deals for Taco Bell and On the Border. Get a free taco from Taco Bell on orders of $15 or more on National Taco Day (10/4/22). On the Border customers can get a buy one, get one free taco (crispy or soft) on orders of at least $15. Grubhub+ members can also get free queso on orders of $20 or more. The deals are available every Tuesday in October.

  • 7-Eleven

    How about 10 mini tacos for $2? Rewards customers stopping at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores can grab 10 mini tacos for $2.
