Being in a wheelchair can already be hard on people, but that does not mean they can’t enjoy a little fun. With the focus on accessibility for all growing in the U.S., it has become important for places to be wheelchair accessible.
Coventry Direct conducted a study to determine the best and worst cities for wheelchair-friendly vacations and the results are in. While ranking more than 100 vacation destinations across the U.S. they were able to determine which were better off for those in a wheelchair. Crazy enough, one North Carolina city not only made the list but took home the #1 spot. That’s right, North Carolina is home to the #1 most wheelchair-friendly vacation destination.
