Do you need a little getaway? Off-the-beaten-track travel is my favorite. When I choose a hotel, I choose the quieter spots to get the most out of my vacation. If you’re looking for somewhere to take a quiet break, North Carolina has some great spots.

According to TripAdvisor‘s new ranking of the best small hotels in the United States, two hotels in North Carolina made the cut. On the list, you will find intimate hotels that are ideal for relaxing, romancing, and taking a break. Even our neighboring states South Carolina and Georgia made the list.

These are all the top 21 best small hotels on the list. These North Carolina destinations rank among the most quaint places to stay in the U.S.
