Looking to get in a good workout while doing good in the community Charlotte? You’re in luck. This Thursday, June 9th, F45 Training and Tim Kennedy are set to host a free workout class. The class is benefiting local Veterans served by The Independence Fund. This is all a part of ongoing efforts to recognize PTSD Awareness month (June) and to prevent Veteran suicide. Everyone is invited to participate in the class alongside Kennedy as well as local Veterans representing The Independence Fund.
“My time in the military has been transformative for my life, to put it lightly. Being surrounded by heroes every single day has given me renewed purpose to honor their commitment and sacrifice while also equipping them with the best resources when they face crisis,” explains Kennedy. “The work of The Independence Fund is exactly that. I am fanatical about my mission to preserve life, and I love partnering with The Independence Fund to prevent Veteran suicide. As we’re in the midst of PTSD Awareness Month, my hope is to bring hidden wounds to the surface and address them with dignity, urgency, and responsibility, so that we can underscore and bolster the legacy of American combat heroes across the nation.”
F45 is a high-intensity interval training workout. To participate in the free workout class, individuals must register ahead of time for the event here.
