Can The Hornets Make It Three In A Row Tonight Vs Bucks?
With Charlotte coming off of two straight wins vs Detroit and winners of the last nine in the series, they look to build on their momentum against the reigning NBA MVP.
8-12. That recond in itself is impressive considering the expectations coming into the season. The development of Devante Graham has been huge, P.J. Washington is in the running for ROY and if Terry Rozier starts to find his rhythm, the Hornets could be a dark horse to make the playoffs in the East.
The Bucks come in at 16-3 and winners of their last 10. That’s a tall task for a young squad but this Hornets team has been surprising people all season. Maybe they can do it again with a win tonight in Milwaukee. The Bucks are among the best in the league on both ends of the floor, ranking in the top 6 in both offensive efficiency and defensive efficiency.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is having another stellar season thus far averaging 31.2 PPG 13.6 RPG and 6 APG. After falling short in the Eastern Conference playoffs last year, this man has one thing on his mind, an NBA Championship.
Milwaukee does struggle with one thing: guarding the perimeter, allowing the 3rd highest opponent FG percentage from three (37.4%). Which bodes well for a Hornets team that loves to pull up from deep.
Even Bizmack Biyombo has been pulling his weight while filling in for an injured Cody Zeller, averaging 16 points 9 reb and 2 blocks per game.
Never thought I would say that this season but here we are. I’m not saying the Hornets will set the world on fire this season but this is a nice start to what most expected to be a lost season.
What’s your prediction for the Hornets game tonight?
