Toyota Recalls 700K Vehicles Due to Mechanical Issue
Well, this isn’t pretty. Toyota is now recalling nearly 700,000 vehicles in the U.S. because the fuel pumps can fail and cause engines to stall. This issue in a vehicle will increase the risk of a crash. The recall covers a multitude of different 2018 and 2019 vehicles including:
- LS 500
- RC 350
- RC 300
- GS 350
- IS 300
- ES 350
- LX 570
- GX 460
- RX350
The recall also affects some 2018 and 2019 Toyota branded vehicles including the following models:
- 4Runner
- Camry
- Highlander
- Land Cruiser
- Sequoia
- Sienna
- Tacoma
- Tundra
For more information visit Toyota’s or Lexus’s recall pages. Vehicles owners will get a recall letter in March to fix the faulty fuel pumps, which Toyota says can cause crashes. Better check your Toyota just to be safe.
