Study finds The Batchmaker Batch House has the best pie in North Carolina
There might be some good ‘ole North Carolina pie in my future.
Growing up, pies were something that existed at every family gathering. Not just one type of pie but multiple pies. I always assumed I never liked pumpkin pie because I don’t like pumpkin-flavored things but low and behold at 30 years old, I tried it and I liked it. Sounds pretty typical to me: I think I don’t like something so I don’t try it for years and then now in my adult life I’m open to trying new things and turns out I’ve been missing out all this time!
Whether pies are your guilty pleasure, a family tradition or just a snack, Charlotte is home to the best pie in North Carolina. Yelp found this out by looking at restaurants and bakeries around the country and they compiled a list of the top spot in each state. According to the list, The Backmaker Batch House takes the crown (Charlotte pun intended) for North Carolina!
