This Historical Mansion is the Largest Home in South Carolina

Whenever you’re riding along King St., you can head down a little bit further Downtown to see the historic Calhoun Mansion (now known as Williams Mansion). The name Calhoun rings bells for those in Charleston, but the mansion is still standing. The now Williams Mansion was built in 1876 with 45-foot high ceilings in the ballroom and has a total of 35 rooms. Within the mansion is also 23-period fireplaces to keep you warm. The mansion stands over 24,000 sq. ft. of historic beauty and charm.
