North Carolina Airport One of the Best Airports for Holiday Travel
Are you planning to do any traveling this holiday season? Many people enjoy taking the time to visit families in other cities, states, or even countries when the holidays come around. We want to be able to celebrate with the ones we love even if we are not able to see them often. This year, I will be spending a week back in my hometown getting to see all of my family members I have not seen much of the year. Although I will be just taking a road trip, many people I know will be taking a flight. If you have ever flown during the holiday season then you are already aware of how crazy that time can be!
Travel Market Report is naming the best and worst airports for holiday travel. These are the airports that have the worst and best when it comes to delays and cancellations between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Luckily for us, our local North Carolina airport came in on the good side of the list. Charlotte Douglas International was named one of the highest and best airports to travel through during holiday travel. The airport has a 77.5% of on-time departures during the holiday season. That is a huge amount of people making it to their destinations on time.
