Please visit any Mecklenburg County Senior Center In-person to turn your paperwork in before 5 pm on Sunday.
In addition to traditional athletic activities like 5K Road Race, Track & Field events, cycling, basketball and softball games less strenuous activities include:: archery, horseshoes, bocce, cornhole, shuffleboard, etc.
Creative & musical activities include Heritage Arts – jewelry making, needlework, weaving, work working, stained glass, etc.
Visual Arts include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc.
Performing Arts: stand up comedy, dance, instrumental, vocal, dance, cheerleading
Individuals who win 1st, 2nd, 3rd in most events are invited to compete in the North Carolina State Senior Games. If they win they’re invited to compete in National Senior Games (not including Creative/Performing Arts).
