If you want the rainbow, you have to deal with the rain. I feel like this is something I’ve been facing quite often and it has been some positive motivation for me. As you pick your card this week, take a moment to focus on what YOU need for this week. Hope? Courage? Maybe some clarity. Whatever it may be, picture it, process it, and move forward.

• Card 1: Two of Cups Reversed

  In the words of RuPaul, "If you don't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" This card revered is all about self-love. Having a loving relationship with someone starts with loving yourself, accepting yourself, and respecting yourself. If you chose this card, take some time to really reconnect with you. Don't go chasing relationships with others or big worldly plans until you do.

• Card 2: King of Swords

  In a Tarot reading, the King of Swords shows authority and respect. You are a person of strong convictions who stands firm in your truth. Consequently, others take note of your comments. This is a good thing. You are a leader and it's up to you what to do with that power.

  This Major Arcana card is one of my favorites. Partly because I am an introvert but also because of its reading. The Hermit is all about distancing yourself. At this time in your life, you are taking a break from your normal routine to focus your energy and attention inward to find the answers you are searching for. Taking a weekend retreat might be what you need. By doing so you will find time to contemplate your motivations, values, and principles to learn more about who you are.
