Charlotte and Raleigh Rank Two of The Best Cities For Singles
Looking for love? Aren’t we all. If you’re single and live in North Carolina, your chances of finding true love are actually pretty good.
The folks at Clever Real Estate set out to determine the best cities in the U.S. for singles. They analyzed publicly available data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census, Yelp, and the Black Tux to rank the 50 most populous metro areas in the U.S. according to how great they are for singles.
The North Carolina cities of Charlotte and Raleigh both landed within the top 40 on the list. For those of you living in Charlotte, your odds of finding Mr. or Miss. right are way higher with the city ranking number 22 out of 50! Your average date will cost a mere $99.25 which actually seems pretty reasonable to me. For those of you living in Raleigh, your city took the number 40 spot with 44% of residents single and ready to mingle. Your average date night was a little higher costing $103.21 for love to blossom.
The number one spot on the list went to New Orleans, followed by Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Austin, Providence, Cleveland, Denver, Virginia Beach, and Oklahoma City. A typical date night costs $112.53 across the 50 most populous metro areas in the U.S., according to Clever Real Estate.
