If you are looking for a road trip that promises to be anything but “normal” – this is the list for you. We all know people will use any kind of gimmick to get your attention and money. Go on any road trip through small-town USA and you’re guaranteed to see some interesting things. Heck North Carolina even has its share of interesting roadside attractions. Even at tourist destinations such as Myrtle Beach or Gatlinburg, there are what I would refer to as “tacky tourist” magnets. But those Ripley’s museums and write your name on a grain of rice have nothing on these tourist attractions. And if that’s your thing no judgment here, it’s just not mine. A website called alittlebithuman.com put together what they call the 6 weirdest tourist attractions in the United States. And weird doesn’t do some of these places justice. Some actually look pretty interesting but still leave me asking why? Who asked for this? Would I plan a trip around any of these? Absolutely not. Would I stop by if I was in the area?
