We all love to see it, the Spirit Halloween stores that pop up in vacant shopping center spaces this time of year. Spirit Halloween is a hotspot for costumes and decor. The only downside? Is you won’t always know where to find it. Since this holiday-themed store is only open a few months out of the year, they sign temporary leases in vacant, recently closed storefronts. So the Spirit Halloween you ventured to last year, is almost guaranteed to not be there this year. And while you may see one just driving around, you may not. That’s where I’m here to help with a handy list of all the Spirit Halloween Locations in the Charlotte North Carolina area for 2023.
There are eight Charlotte area Spirit Halloween locations open (or opening) in 2023. These include within Charlotte city limits as well as suburbs like Matthews, Rock Hill, and Mooresville among others. Spirit Halloween is known as a “one-stop shop” for costumes for the entire family. Think those bagged costumes that come as sets and have just about every option under the sun. From popular movie characters to generic “cowboy” or “nurse”, or scary horror-based costumes. Plus those accessories amplify a homemade costume as well. My favorite part of visiting a Spirit Halloween store? The outdoor decorations including moving animatronics (that are far more expensive than I’d ever pay for) that can make your home into the most haunted house on the block.
