With gas prices skyrocketing and expected to continue to rise due to the conflict in Ukraine, you may be rushing to fill up your tank. But if you want to save as much as you can, you may be wondering who has the cheapest gas in Charlotte. All of these prices are as of Tuesday morning (March 8th) and are from GasBuddy. It’s no surprise that a quick trip over into South Carolina will get you the cheapest prices around so several make this list.
You can find some prices around $3.70 a gallon, which in the current climate of +$4 isn’t too bad. There is no need to panic buy at this point, but maybe just swing by the pump while you’re out and about this weekend. Among the largest producers in the world, Russia produces 17 percent of the world’s natural gas and 12 percent of its oil. In addition, much of Russia’s natural gas exports to Europe flow through pipelines in Ukraine. So don’t expect those prices to last long. Oh, how I miss when gas prices used to start with a 1. Maybe one day we will see that again, we can only hope.
But for now, check out the cheapest gas prices in Charlotte.
