Carolina Streamer Spotlight: Meet TOMMYexe
Video games are all the rage, so we decided to shed some light on local video game streamers in the Carolinas. This week, we had the chance to sit down with local community game streamer, TOMMYexe, and ask him about being part of the game stream community!
How’d you get into streaming? What was the original goal?
I got into streaming because other streamers inspired me to stream also I wanted to make content. My original goal was to just grow a small gaming community.
What’s been your best moment as a streamer?
My best moment as a streamer has been just enjoying games and vibing with friends.
What games really speak to you?
The games that really speak out to me is: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, Valorant, Fortnite
How do you like connecting with your audience? What tool do you use most (chat, Twitter, Discord, etc.)?
To reach out to my audience I mostly use discord and TikTok.
If your fans were only going to take one message away from watching you, what would you want that to be?
If my fans were to take one message away from watching me, I would want it to be just having fun and creating memories.
What advice would you give to aspiring streamers?
The advice I would give to aspiring streamers is to not give up.
What’s been one of the biggest surprises that you never thought of going into streaming?
One of the biggest surprises about streaming is meeting new people across the world.
