Charlotte’s Ric Flair is No Longer with the WWE
This is shocking, but the news is true. Ric Flair is gone from WWE!
Pro wrestling legend Ric Flair has been released by WWE. WrestlingInc.com and Fightful.com report that Flair asked for his release and it was granted by the company. WWE has yet to announce the news, but two additional news outlets have confirmed.
The WWE Hall of Fame inducted Flair in 2008 for his individual career and again in 2012 for his role as a member of ‘The Four Horsemen’ faction. As well as being inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame, he also holds membership in the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. The news of Flair’s departure comes amid the release of several other notable celebrities since April, including Bray Wyatt, who was released on Saturday.
