Charlotte Is Getting A New Nashville Hot Chicken Chain

I’m not gonna lie, most food news gets me pretty excited, but this news sent me over the edge with excitement!

Charlotte’s food scene is continuing to develop, and it looks like soon we will have a new fast-casual, Nashville Hot Chicken style restaurant to enjoy. Dave’s Hot Chicken has plans to open 12, yes 12, locations in the Charlotte area in the next five years. The chain is based in LA but has locations in other big cities like Dallas, Denver, and Toronto.

The owners of the Charlotte locations are hoping to open locations in South End, Ballantyne, South Charlotte, University, and Plaza Midwood, but are still looking to secure leases.

For now, we can just gaze at Dave’s Hot Chicken’s menu and Instagram, but I’m warning you, once you do, you’re going to want it THAT much more.
