Massive Crowd Shows Up For Raleigh Open House

We all know that the housing market is hot right now. In fact, I think it’s safe to say we’ve moved past “hot” the housing market is WILD right now, and this video from one Raleigh open house proves it. The video started showing up on all my social media feeds over the weekend. The video shows people lining the street to look at a house for sale in Raleigh.

Raleigh realtor, Monique Edwards, first posted the video, and it quickly spread. People were absolutely shocked to see the insane crowds of people wanting to just look at the house. The home is in the North Farms subdivision in Raleigh. It is 1,485 square feet and listed for $260,000.

After reading the details, I can understand why this house would be a hot ticket item, but the video of the insane crowd still baffles me. It really just shows you how difficult it is to find affordable, single-family homes in this market. I can only imagine this house has already sold, and for well over the asking price with this amount of people interested in the property. Is this the reality of buying homes in 2022? It seems to be.
