North Carolina Woman Out For Revenge Tries To Burn Down Wrong House
It’s a classic tale of revenge…gone wrong. A North Carolina woman was trying to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend. Her plan? To set fire to his house. Only she accidentally set fire to someone else’s home. This is all according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. This took place in Gold Hill, NC. A neighbor witnessed the woman trying to start the fire, with oil.
According to PilotOnline a homeowner in Gold Hill was awakened Friday by a neighbor who saw a woman trying to set fire to the house. There were bundles of wood and a fire on the front porch and deputies found a jug of oil that they say was used to start the fire. The neighbor went into action and eventually confronted the woman with a rifle. She drove off just as sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene.
The woman has since been arrested and charged with first-degree arson which is a felony. She faces additional charges of assault with a deadly weapon and larceny of an animal. Damages in the incident are estimated to be around $20,000.
She didn’t get her revenge and instead is facing felony charges. Let that be a lesson for you ladies, life isn’t a country song- you won’t get away with it.

One Of The Best Cities To Flip Houses Is In North Carolina
I love watching HGTV and I have to admit they make it look easy. Which makes me sometimes wish I could just invest in real estate by buying and flipping houses. Though I realize that process is extremely more extensive than shown in a 30-minute TV show. So while I may dream of it, I don’t see that project in my immediate future. Though the 5 and sometimes even six-figure payday is extremely tempting. If you are interested and a little handier, you’d be interested to know that one of the best cities to flip houses in, is located in North Carolina.
Because if you are going to take on an expensive and involved project, you need to know the return on your investment is there. It doesn’t matter how fantastic the home is if you price yourself out of the area with the renovations. I’ve talked to some people who are from Waco, TX and this was part of the issue with the Fixer Upper Homes. The market to live in that area just couldn’t support the flipping of those homes.
To determine the best cities to flip houses in North Carolina and throughout the country, WalletHub compared more than 170 U.S. cities.
