The Marvel Universe Has Arrived In North Carolina For The Summer
Calling all lovers of all things Marvel. The Marvel Universe has arrived in North Carolina and you can experience it for yourself all summer long. Marvel Universe of Superheros is the newest exhibit at Discovery Place Science in uptown Charlotte. The exhibit is now open and will call the museum home through September 4th. Tickets are $43-$44 for adults, $38-$39 for children, and $40-$41 for seniors and include admission to the rest of Discovery Place as well. Members can purchase access to the exhibit for $20 per person.
So what does it all entail? According to Discovery Place, “MARVEL: Universe of Super Heroes celebrates Marvel’s 80-year history: from the iconic characters to the creators who’ve told the stories.” You’ll see things like costumes and prop’s for your favorite Marvel movies, original comic books, interactive displays, and photo ops with life-sized statues of the most beloved characters.
Visitors can expect to spend about an hour browsing the exhibit and you will receive a specific time to enter on your ticket.
