Carowinds Announces A New Park ‘Aeronautica Landing’

We knew Carowinds was about to make a big announcement on Thursday, and now we finally know all the details. Carowinds is adding a new addition to their park! Carowinds is celebrating their 50th anniversary next year. As part of the celebration, they have just made a huge announcement about the growth of the park. According to WRAL, Carowinds will be opening a new section of the park, called, Aeronautica Landing. This section of the park will be dedicated to the history and future of flight. Aeronautica Landing is set to open in 2023, and will feature 5 new themed attractions. It will also have a new, upgraded dining venue as well. It's hard to believe Carowinds has been around for 50 years. I think this is a great way to celebrate their anniversary, as it gives new incentive for guests to come and check out the new section of the park! I think the flight theme is also a great choice, especially when you consider that the park is just over the South Carolina border, and North Carolina is known as "First in Flight."
