What in Amber Heards testimony are the Charlotte Hornets doing…again? Yes they hired a new head coach Mr. Kenny Atkinson. I just think why let James Borrego go and bring in Kenny Atkinson. THEIR THE SAME PEOPLE!
I don’t like the hire but I’m gonna come in with an open mind, I just think Borrego was soooo close to putting the Hornets into a firm playoff spot. Kenny Atkinson has only one playoff win, when he coached the Brooklyn Nets they loss in 5 games.
Kenny Atkinson should come into the Hornets and put them into the playoffs in his first year. I think the Borrego set the Atkinson up like Mark Jackson set up Steve Kerr to take over the Golden State Warriors.
Hornets got an All-Star point guard in LaMelo Ball who’s the leader of the team, Miles Bridges is the best player on the team, they have good role players, deep bench but they need a legit seven foot center.
Coach Atkinson is in a good position with the three draft picks coming up the Hornets are in a good spot to be in the playoffs next year or this hire will be for nothing.
Last year I set the Hornets win total bar at 35 and they had 43…the new season well I don’t know yet, check back with me in October.
