Are you a fan of chicken wings? I know quite a few people that are truly obsessed with chicken wings. It’s their favorite food of all time. Those are the folks that have their go-to wing flavor, recipe, and favorite wing spot. If you’re a fan of chicken wings then we may have found the perfect article for you. Enjoy Travel named 50 of the best places to get chicken wings across the U.S. So, we’re taking our time to look over this list, and guess what I see? Charlotte, North Carolina has a special spot on this list!

Enjoy Travel knows that chicken wings are pretty much on every menu you can find. From BBQ, American, Korean, and Southern restaurants they all will probably have their own version of chicken wings on the menu. So, what Charlotte spot made the list for having some of the best chicken wings in the U.S. you might ask? Well, coming in at No. 33 on the top 50 list is D.D. Peckers Wing Shack in Charlotte, North Carolina. This spot is serving up chicken wing platters anywhere from 5 wings to 100 wings. This neighborhood spot has been open since 2002 and serves up everything from chicken wings with dozens of flavor options to burgers, sandwiches, and chicken on a stick. I have personally not visited this spot, but now I am certainly intrigued to do so.

There are of course other chicken wing spots that you should probably visit in the U.S. In Charleston, Home Team BBQ took home the No. 40 spot on this list. This barbecue spot has locations all throughout South Carolin and even one in Aspen, Colorado. Next time you’re in South Carolina you might want to give this spot a taste. The Five Best Spots For Chicken Wings In South Carolina

I am more than a little embarrassed to admit this, but I used to think Buffalo wings were named after the animal. You, of course, know, Buffalo wings originated in Buffalo, New York.  Here are the five best spots for chicken wings in South Carolina.

When you look up what people love most to eat at football parties you will find chicken wings top of the list.  Personally, I go for the chicken drumettes.  Chicken wings and drumettes are crowd-pleasers.  If you put out a tray of this delicious party food, trust me it will be empty the fastest.  I know this from personal experience.

To dip or not to dip, that is the question.  Some people enjoy a little extra on their chicken wings.  But, most chicken wings come flavored already.  Let’s see there is barbecue, teriyaki, plain, and sesame… the choices are endless.  If you have a hankering for a certain flavor, you can slap it on a chicken wing!

The wings here are super crispy on the outside and come with some seriously tasty sauces and dips that bring the whole meal alive. Our sauce tip? Try the Polynesian for something different. Make sure to try one of their craft beers too, which are seriously divine.

  • Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant - Greenville, South Carolina

    Big 7 Travel had this to say about this place. This Greenville brewery serves up fantastic craft brews and some of the best chicken wings in South Carolina. What a perfect combo, right? Their plump and meaty wings come with a choice of classic buffalo sauce, fiery chipotle sauce, or Korean barbecue sauce.
