SouthPark Area is Getting A New Italian Resturant
Oh, my belly is rumbling and ready to dive into some yummy pasta.
They bake, they cater and they rent; it’s Little Mama’s Italian Kitchen coming to the Queen City this Friday, June 19th, 2020. Little Mama’s Italian Kitchen will serve classic Italian-American dishes of homemade kinds of pasta and mozzarella from the Porter Building at 4521 Sharon Road, across from SouthPark mall.
The collaboration of owner Frank Scibelli, Little Mama’s is a classic gesture to the Italian restaurants of the 1960s and ‘70s. In addition, it is also a spin-off concept of Scibelli’s Mama Ricotta’s, which also resides in Charlotte since 1992. Some of their dishes include homemade lasagna, ravioli, a mozzarella bar, and of course, Mama’s Olive Oil Cake. And as their website states, “the broiler menu will impress the whole table with its simplicity and deliciousness. Molto Buono!” I can’t wait.
One sad note however is that due to Covid-19, Little Mama’s currently will only be take-out only 4-9 p.m. daily until their ABC permit is received.
