NFL Fines Player For Displaying His Christianity
This does seem somewhat hypocritical in my opinion.
Demario Davis wears #56 for the New Orleans Saints. Beneath his helmet in a recent game against the Seattle Seahawks, he wore a headband that boldly states, “Man Of God.” This violates an NFL rule on displaying “personal messages.”
The National Football League allows open political protests against police officers and the United States-with NO repercussions, yet when one player openly proclaims his Christianity, he was fined seven thousand dollars?

Selective application of a rule or policy NEVER serves the greater good NFL, just sayin’.
And, is it just me or is there something REALLY ironic about this happening to a “Saint?”
