Is Charlotte’s Getting a New Football Stadium?
Well, that’s what new Panthers owner David Tepper wants.
How cool would it be if Bank of America Stadium hosted an MLS team, a Final Four, a World Cup Soccer game or maybe even a Super Bowl?
Well, David Tepper says that can all happen but “The Bank” needs a retractable roof. He told reporters he’d love to keep it uptown where people can walk to enjoy events, but he also mentioned that he’s aware that other sites may be available. We took calls from y’all in SC and most of you said a new stadium on the border would be awesome! A Super Bowl in Charlotte? Stay tuned!
