Miles Bridges Wins Rising Stars MVP
After a stellar performance for Team USA in the Rising Stars game, Miles Bridges was awarded MVP. Adding 20 points 5 rebounds 5 assists and 3 steals in a 151-131 victory over Team World.
There have been few bright spots this season for the Charlotte Hornets. But the three young men that were representing the city of Charlotte last night, may offer some optimism for the future.
Devonte Graham, P.J. Washington and Miles Bridges did the Hornets faithful proud last night. Graham finished with 9 points 6 assists and 5 rebounds while Washington added 8 points 5 rebounds and 2 assists. The headline though was Miles Bridges.
After being down by 10 at the break, Bridges tweeted this:

Not only did Bridges shoot 8-12 from the field last night but he also threw down a few highlight dunks.
This one got twitter buzzing last night.

But Miles is just happy to be here.

Team USA outscored Team World by 30 in the second half and Bridges was a big reason why. The Hornets may be loaded up with some awful contracts but these young men give Hornets fans hope for the future, something Charlotte basketball fans haven’t had in some time.
