Trust me, I know. We commute every day from South Carolina to Charlotte. It’s no picnic. I-485, I-77 are both problem areas. Luckily, our traffic apps help us re-route and avoid some of the worst problems.
And, some days there are backups on every route into Charlotte. Our commute can take well over an hour as was the case in the picture below!
But, it just seems most days, there’s just too many cars jamming themselves into the same cramped spaces. Mix that with the inevitable crashes, road construction and stalled vehicles to get a recipe for road rage.
It’s the price we pay for a peaceful existence in the suburbs while attempting to earn enough in the city to pay for that life. The struggle is ongoing and very real. Pack your patience, people!
