These Are North Carolina’s Favorite Breeds Of Cats
Are you looking to add a furry friend to your life? Or are you just a cat lover? If so you may find yourself searching the internet for information on cats. And by information on cats let’s be honest I mean photos and cute cat videos. Outside of my best friend’s cat who we spent most of our college years and the immediate aftermath dressing in incredibly ridiculous costumes I’m not a cat person. Perhaps it’s the fact that I was allergic to them as a kid. Or that I was bitten by a different friend’s cat. However, there are plenty of cat people in the US. And in North Carolina. But what breeds of cats are people searching for the most? Not the ones I would have guessed! Our friends over at BetCarolina.com set out to determine what are the most popular cat breeds in North Carolina.
These rankings are according to Google search trends. They analyzed data throughout the last 12 months to reveal the most popular breeds of cats in different states across the US. And these were the results for North Carolina!

List: 32 Plants That Could Be Poisonous To Cats

So, if you have a cat, it’s best to avoid any plants that could be toxic plants at all costs. This should be done whether you have an indoor or outdoor cat as toxic plants can be found in both locations.
Lawnlove recently compiled a list of plants that can be toxic to cats as well as the symptoms that can occur if part of the plant is eaten. While plant-based diets are popular with humans, maybe it’s not the best option for our feline friends. Artificial plants actually might be best especially if your pet is prone to sampling the flora and fauna. But if live plants are a must then make sure to avoid any that are on this list. This list is specific to cats, but chances are these plants may not be safe for other animals as well.
Before adding a plant to your home consult the following:
If you suspect that your cat has eaten any of the plants on this list or is experiencing any of the below symptoms make sure to consult your vet immediately.
