Carole Baskin Is Coming To North Carolina
In a way, it seems like just yesterday when we were all stuck at home with nothing to do but watch Tiger King. And talk about Tiger King. And watch it again. Well over a year later we haven’t fully escaped it. Tonight, Tiger King’s Carole Baskin will be in North Carolina to raise money for a new animal sanctuary.
Baskin’s organization “Big Cat Rescue” is teaming up with Shizzy’s Wildcat Rescue in Fair Bluff or the gala. The event is from 6 to 11 tonight in Greensboro. Attendees will wear cat-themed formal wear.
According to their website, Shizzy’s Wildcat Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was founded in January of 2013. Shazir Haque started Shizzy’s Wildcat Rescue in the hopes that he and his team could help save and protect wildcats in captivity and in the wild. Shizzy’s Wildcat Rescue was incorporated in July of 2013.
