Verlander Continues to Make History
Astros’ right-hander Justin Verlander continues to make history after tossing his third career no-hitter.
Verlander also became the first pitcher to ever throw two no-hitters in the same opponents ballpark.
During this immaculate outing, Verlander only needed to throw 120 pitches. He struck out 14 batters and walked one.

This was Verlander’s first no-hitter since 2011 when he had a similar outing.
He threw his first no-hitter while he was with Detroit in 2007.
Can Verlander carry a performance like this into the playoffs?
With 2 early Cy Young award nominees, do you think Houston has the best rotation in baseball?
