Brad Stevens Takes Responsibility For Celtics Loss To Bucks
After a five-game run in the semis, the Celtics won’t be advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals, falling to the Bucks 116-91 on Wednesday night.
A disappointed Brad Stevens spoke to reporters in the postgame press conference, accepting full responsibility for the team’s performance this season.
“I’ll be the first to say that this is, as far as any other year that I’ve been a head coach, certainly the most trying. I think I did a bad job. At the end of the day, as a coach, if your team doesn’t find its best fit together, that’s on you,” Stevens admitted.
Dashed in the loss were Beantown’s hopes of having a Grand Slam in sports, with both the Red Sox and Patriots winning championships and the Bruins inching closer to theirs.
